AWS Developer – Associate

The primary objective of this module is to introduce students to programming logic and basic concepts in programming. Students will gain the necessary skills required for analyzing a problem and developing the solution. Students will also learn the basic syntax of a specific programming language and gain practical experience in executing code written in the language. Additionally, students will be exposed to programming syntax, setting up the environment for code execution & an aptitude to analyze technical problems.

Eligibility requirements

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have an interest in Cloud computing as a career path
  • Must have the ability to commit to a 12-week full-time (Monday-Friday) in-class training program
  • Must be highly motivated to participate in an intensive skills development training

  • Must have passed the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification exam

Learning Objectives

  • Set up the AWS SDK and developer credentials for Java, C#/.Net, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Use the AWS SDK to interact with AWS services and develop solutions.
  • Use Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) and Amazon DynamoDB as data stores.
  • Integrate applications and data by using Amazon Kinesis, AWS Lambda, Amazon Simple Queue Service (Amazon SQS), Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS), and Amazon Simple Workflow Service (Amazon SWF).
  • Use AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) for service authentication.
  • Use Web Identity Framework and Amazon Cognito for user authentication.
  • Use Amazon ElastiCache and Amazon CloudFront to improve application scalability.
  • Deploy applications by using AWS Elastic Beanstalk and AWS CloudFormation.

Prerequisites

It is the policy of ITTIQ to maintain an “open admission policy”. Prospective students will be admitted into the program on a first-come-first-served basis provided they meet the minimum qualifications as prescribed during application.

Certificate Requirement

Students must complete the course in 12 weeks. Students can request their certificates after the final assessment, knowledge check, and certification exam.
